Today Jacob and I played outside, and took pictures in two very special pieces of clothing. The onesie Jacob is sporting was made by his lovely Aunty Madeleine, and the overalls were worn by Jacob's Grandpa Maillet when he was a little boy.

Our little Number One!!

Finally! I have procured pictures from Jacob's birthday party courtesy of my dear dad. It was a really nice day spent playing and with family. Jacob enjoyed opening his presents, and being the centre of attention (of course). Sadly, for me mostly, Jacob was not the least bit interested in his birthday cake and ice cream! Aunty Madeleine worked really hard to make his soccer ball cake, but Jacob would not have it. I think he was more concerned about staying clean than eating cake haha. Here's a little taste of the day:)

Flashback

This week I got a new computer! This brings good news for the blog, I hope, as now it won't take me 30 minutes just to do a quick post. My old computer dates way back to 2002, so I think it was about time for an upgrade. This new computer will allow me to keep up with our family pictures and home videos, and catalogue them in a much neater and more creative way.

While transferring these things from the ancient pc to my new home, I went through a lot of Jacob's baby pictures. Here are a few to remind you how fast he is growing, and how far he has come in just a year.
