Jacob sure is enjoying March Break and all of the perks that come along with it.  Wednesday was especially exciting as it was bring your favourite ball to daycare day, as well as my birthday!  If you remember Jacob's first birthday, you'll remember that Jacob did not want to touch his birthday cake.  He took a fit over it and did not eat any.  Well, he tried to pull the same routine with my birthday cake, but after cleverly tricking him to take a bite, he discovered that he really does love cake! (phew-I was worried.  What kid doesn't like cake?)

 Later that night, after Jacob was supposed to be in bed, we ordered Noodle take-out.  Jacob was all over my bowl with excitement, so I gave him a bowl of his own, complete with his own chopsticks (thanks, Kara!)  He was so determined to use his chopsticks, like mommy, and I think he did a pretty good job at it.  Paul and I were so amazed with giggles as we watched our little man dig in with such concentration.  He really, truly, is not a baby anymore. Sigh.
